Master Carvers’ Association celebrating the founding of The Grinling Gibbons Society and in recognition of the support and encouragement from The Worshipful Company of Mercers, that the Society was conceived and founded by Mark Aspinall, Serving Master Mercer 2019-21, Inaugural Chairman of The Grinling Gibbons Society 2020 – , Hugh Wedderburn has combined The Mercers’ Maid with Gibbons motifs to create this buttonhole Badge of Office, carved from London Pear wood.
